Fr. Melake Berhane Kesis Gabre Menfeskduse Jacobs was ordained as priest on July 3, 1994 by HE Archbishop Abuna Yesehaq. He was Priest-in-Charge from 1998-2005, and then the Board of Directors was formed. He was a member of the Board of Directors, and was present at all Board of Trustees meetings to provide input. He assisted in the overall administration of the Church.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church an
indigenous and integral church of Africa is one of the oldest churches in the world, if not the oldest one and is a founding member of the World Council of Churches {WCC}
